Upgraded (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates getupgraded.app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using Upgraded, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: your email address when you create an account, your home airport and flight preferences in settings, and optionally your mobile phone number if you enable SMS alerts. We also collect limited usage data such as login timestamps and alert activity to operate the service.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide the Upgraded service — monitoring flight prices for routes you watch and sending you alerts when prices drop. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising.

Email Alerts

If you have an account, we will send you flight deal alerts and occasional service messages to the email address associated with your account. You can disable deal alerts in your account settings.

SMS Alerts

If you opt in to SMS alerts, we will use your mobile phone number to send you flight deal notifications for routes you are watching. Standard message and data rates may apply.

We will not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your phone number is used solely to deliver the alerts you have requested.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data. Access to production systems is restricted. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled via one-time email links.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Upgraded:

  • Railway — cloud infrastructure and database hosting
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Twilio — SMS delivery (if you opt in to SMS alerts)
  • Google Flights (via SerpAPI) — flight price data
Each provider has its own privacy policy governing their handling of data.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@getupgraded.app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of Upgraded after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
